On Sept. 26th from 4-7 pm at the recreation complex near the ball fields and horse arena in Celina, the Clay County Anti-Drug Coalition teamed up with Clay County Sheriff and Celina Police Departments along with local emergency and medical personnel to provide a community Health and Safety Fair. It was fun for all ages including: K9 demos, seat belt simulator, Boating Under the Influence Simulator, Child ID kits, drug information trailers from the Tennessee Counter Drug task force, Driving Under the Influence golf cart course, inflatable bounce house and obstacle course, free food and drinks, music and door prizes. The event was open to all community members of any age. Also, some people had brought unused or expired medication for safe disposal! Children also had the opportunity to sign and paint their hands to pledge to be drug free, bully free, and live safer lives. Together we can build stronger, safer communities in Clay County for us all!
